Clean Drinking Water
Efforts by the occupation forces to deprive people in Gaza of access to safe drinking water have resulted in the widespread disruption of water and electric infrastructure, as well as the destruction of many wells, pipelines, and reservoirs. These conditions have left large segments of the population without reliable access to clean water. In response, the Palestine Aid Society – Detroit Chapter, in coordination with grassroots partners such as Al-Najdeh Social Association in Gaza and local activists, has funded the purchase and distribution of clean drinking water to displaced families in camps through water trucks. In 2025 alone, we provided 1,200,000 liters of safe drinking water to those in urgent need.
