Due to ongoing economic hardship and high unemployment in Gaza and the West Bank, many families are unable to provide their children with new clothing to celebrate Eid. For the past decade, the Palestine Aid Society – Detroit Chapter has supported a program that provides new clothes to children in need by the end of Ramadan—helping them celebrate with joy and dignity, like their peers.
